Tonton JJ Foraging Experience (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. We run a small, personal guided-foraging business on the Sonoma–Mendocino coast, and we keep our data practices as simple as our trips. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
We only collect what you choose to give us — your name, email and phone when you contact us, request a booking, or send feedback, plus any notes you share (dietary needs, medical conditions, group details) so we can run a safe trip. We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
To reply to you, arrange and run your experience, send the details you need (meeting point, sport-fishing licence link), and — only if you ask — add you to a waitlist or send the occasional update.
Most experiences are booked through Airbnb. Your booking and payment are handled by Airbnb under its own privacy policy; we only receive the information Airbnb shares with hosts to run your trip.
Our feedback forms use Google Forms, and responses are stored in Google Drive under Google’s privacy policy.
Our Gear and Library pages include Amazon affiliate links as part of the Amazon Associates Program. If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and Amazon may set cookies to credit the referral.
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Sites we link to (Amazon, Airbnb, Google) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. The site is hosted by Netlify, which may log standard technical data such as your IP address for security and performance.
Email us at privacy@tontonjj.com to see, correct, or delete any information we hold, or to opt out of updates. We keep information only as long as needed to run the business or as the law requires, and we share it only with the providers named above.
Our site and experiences are intended for adults booking for themselves or their group; we do not knowingly collect information from children.
